Every tailored service begins with a vehicle-specific assessment before we recommend or quote for work. A Range Rover Vogue TDV8 at 120,000 miles gets a different assessment to a Jaguar F-PACE Ingenium at 35,000 miles.
Tailored engine solutions for a Land Rover Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 at 95,000 miles are different to those for a Jaguar XF 2.2 diesel at 60,000 miles. The SDV6 Discovery 4 requires a focus on EGR valve condition, timing chain condition and coolant gallery condition. The Jaguar XF 2.2 diesel requires a different set of checks, including rear coolant rail integrity, fuel injector balance rates, and gearbox fluid condition.
A bespoke Land Rover engine service requires technicians who understand these differences by engine code, by model, and by mileage. Our service technicians do not use a one-size-fits-all approach. A tailored service plan for a Range Rover Sport TDV6 owned by a towing enthusiast has different fluid change intervals and turbocharger inspection schedules to the same model used only for city driving.

A Land Rover Defender engine used for off-road work requires different bearing clearances and sealing considerations from a standard Defender rebuild for road use.
Range Rover Sport and Land Rover Discovery 4 engines that have been repaired with incorrect oil, non-OEM parts or incorrect timing chain procedures need to be evaluated before a standard rebuild is undertaken.
Jaguar XF, Range Rover Vogue and Land Rover Discovery 4 vehicles with multiple interacting fault codes need time-based fault investigation using live data analysis and module-by-module testing with Land Rover SDD.
Land Rover Defender TDCi, Range Rover Sport TDV6 and Land Rover Discovery 3 TDV6 vehicles at 150,000-200,000 miles do not need oil and filters only; they need a plan that covers timing chain condition, transfer box fluid, gearbox fluid, and EGR condition.
Following an engine rebuild, a bespoke Land Rover engine service plan ensures the rebuilt engine is serviced with the correct fluids and inspections at the correct intervals during the running-in period.
